The Suter Art Gallery

Last week Room 9 were lucky enough to visit The Suter Art Gallery. We wrote about this for our writing and drew pictures of our favourite portraits.

In our writing we are learning to write about what happened and how we felt. This is so our writing is interesting to read.

We hope you enjoy it!

Save Our Snails

This week we went to the museum.

We went to learn about some giant snails which are endangered. This means they may become extinct.

They have an amazing name which we could all say by the end of our trip... Powelliphanta.

Miss Whitehead's favourite thing about the trip was that lots of parents came to help and they got to teach Room 9 children too!

Thank you Dale for your amazing lessons on traps!

Thank you Deane for helping us catagorise different shells!

Thank you Matiu and Shelley for teaching us to sort the 'pest' rocks.
